About the Program
Social Sciences University of Ankara is a research oriented university, whose primary objective is to provide high quality post-graduate education. The Department of Economics puts a special emphasis on graduate programs. The program, which offers a wide range of courses, enables its students to deepen their knowledge in economics. Master’s in Economics at SSUA is an intensive two -year program. Obtaining the degree requires completing 4 compulsory courses (in mathematics, macroeconomics, microeconomics, and econometrics), 3 elective courses, and submission of a Master's thesis. Application Information and Admission Requirements
Applicants should have
• an undergraduate degree* with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.50/4.0 or 65/100;
• a minimum score of 75 in ALES-EA or an equivalent score in the Graduate Record Exam (GRE);
• a minimum score of 80 in English in YDS or an equivalent score in an English proficiency exam recognized by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK)
