About the Program

The PhD program is lasted eight semesters and the maximum completion period is twelve semesters, regardless of whether the students enrolled for the program or not for each semester, starting from the period in which they are enrolled for the program with the master's degree, except for the time spent in the scientific preparation. The PhD program for those accepted with Bachelor's degree, is lasted ten semesters and the maximum completion period is fourteen semesters.

The medium of instruction is Turkish. The main objective of the PhD program is to train researchers and promote research in this field.

This program aims to graduate specialists, whoa re able to deal with the problems of public law in an analytical way and to produce solutions, have the power of abstract thinking and to analyze theories that was learned from the point of view of public law, using his knowledge for these purposes, are able to look closely and critical current developments of the public law in the world and in Turkey in line with the scientific method that can analyze academic honesty, are qualified scientists and researchers in the field of public law.

Application Information and Admission Requirements

1) To have a master degree in Public Law.

2) To have a minimum graduation grade of 2.50 over 4.00 or equivalent in LLM

3) To have a minimum score of 55 in ALES-EA or an equivalent score in the Graduate Record Exam (GRE).

4) To have a minimum score of 55 in English in ÜDS / KPDS / YDS / YÖKDİL / e-YDS or an equivalent score in an English proficiency exam recognized by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).

5) *For international candidates : to pay tuition fee and application fee.

6) *For international candidates : to have adequate level of Turkish
